Rapper 50 Cent Gets Out of 4 Year Sentence for Domestic Violence Case

While everyone was obsessing over Chris Brown attacking a stranger in DC, rapper 50 Cent today just got out of a possible 4 year sentence for attacking his ex-girlfriend and mother of one of his children. In the attack that dates back to June, Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent lost it in his ex Daphne Joy‘s Toluca Lake condo breaking chandeliers, a television, knocked down the bedroom door where she had locked herself in while Jackson had his episode, kicked her and threw her clothes in the closet everywhere.

Jackson plead no contest to one count of misdemeanor vandalism, has to pay $7,100 in restitution, 30 days of community service, mandatory counseling and 3 years of probation according to a deal made by his attorney. He was able to get out of $46,000 in fines as well as a 4 year possible sentence.

This is not Jackson’s first domestic violence incident as his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins claims he burned her house down, a case in which he was cleared of suspicion.

Do you think 50 Cent’s sentence was light or did he deserve a lighter punishment?
